HI! This is the last day of the Oh My Stars-O-Rama event for the month of January. Today could be your last chance to get some of the items created by the Oh My Stars stores who participated in this event. If you are unfamiliar with this event, stores of Oh My Stars received a texture and created items with that texture. Brrrrr. Yes it is chilly out there isn't it people? What better time I ask you to wrap yourself up in wonderful winter clothing from all over the Oh My Stars Sims!



First up is the "Trapper Cord Grey" hat from Sur+ . You don't have to be a SLipster to don this funky and comfy looking chapeau! It goes with just about anything and everything and makes the statement "I demand warmth! I'm Freezing my pixels off!". In an SLworld where hats rarely fit or look right this one is wonderfully crafted and realistically textured. Classic winter gear from Sienia Trevillion. (The creative mind behind Agent Orange)

Is this thing turned on? That's right, it's Wednesday, so I've turned up like a bad penny. I hope your lives are going peachy, boys and broads! I slipped back in time this week to show off a little ruffle skirt that I picked up from Bubble. I like this shop, it suits my old-fashioned personality to a T without smelling like mold, if you know what I mean. I also like Miss Hax's Hats. I found one that put me in mind of 1920s flappers, so I stuck it over a tidy wig from Clawtooth.

That Bubbles Clawtooth is a card, isn't she? Just the other day we were trading mustache waxing secrets when I said, Bubbles dear, you might want to work on your legs, too. How're you going to draw a seam up the back if you don't get a closer shave? She said, "Oh, that doesn't matter, darling -- my boys like it rough." Now what was my point? Oh yes, clothing. Oh, it doesn't matter, aren't I cute? I bet you are too! Now go have a lovely afternoon.

Oh My Stars-O-Rama is coming!

The fabulous stores of Oh My Stars are working really hard on an event that will hopefully knock your socks off!

The first Oh My Stars-O-Rama begins January 22nd and runs through the 29th.

We have asked the stores of Oh My Stars to create up to three items using a texture. They are able to make changes to the texture and are able to come up with poses, hair, outfits, shapes, anything related to this texture!

We invite you to visit Oh My Stars and see everything we've created with this texture! The stores who are participating will have their items out by January 22nd and will remove them after January 29th! Stores can totally reuse these items in their stores after the event is over!

We will be showcasing the items throughout the week of the event on the Oh My Stars blog and flickr group!

Stylish and Cool on Oh My Stars!

Ok, it's time to get some boys clothes going on in this blog and what better time than while we're all enjoying The Seasons Hunt and the wonderful offerings of Oh My Stars! vendors.

First off I want to talk about my favorite new accessory and that's the "Said Anything Further" scarf from Split Pea on Elliott. I don't love this just because Melatonin Hax is a wonderful human. I love it because I look DAMN sexy in this scarf and it goes with nearly every piece of winter wear I have. Stylish, sexy, expertly crafted and yes, cute! (I'm talking about the scarf, not me!!)


Here I am having a rest after hunting my booty off for 6 hours. Looking warm and stylish in my scarf and the amazing "Black Jacket with Grey Hoodie" from Young Urban. Guys clothes are hard enough to find to begin with. If I dressed from the majority of SL stores I would end up looking like a cross between a Gor Leather afficianado and P-Diddy with enough Bling to burn the pixels in my flat-screen. Young Urban makes it easy for all guys. Stylish and comfy looking clothes that you would, and do wear in real life. The "Black Jacket with Grey Hoodie" comes in several other color combos and surprise surprise kids it looks as good ON you as on the Vendor! (now there is a novel concept)

Also, check out those nifty and shall I mention FREE "Norfolk Pants in Olive" also from Young Urban! These are Young Urban's Seasons Hunt gift and they rock! I'm picky about pants, but these are absolute keepers and well, the price is certainly right!

Hello, guys and gals. I suppose I should introduce myself, but I think I'll just let you speculate… Mel was kind enough to let me loose on her blog, and since I've never done THAT in SL before, I thought I'd try my hand at it. (Now, now, don't go imagining what else I've done in SL!) You might see me here from time to time, if I don't mess this up...

Mel's sim is quite the place. I went for a little stroll, and found so many pretties I had to put 'em right on. It reminded me of one of my favorite Dolly Parton tunes, so this is the theme of my post.

It's all about FUN! So here's some Fun Stuff!

OK, yeah that is a bit simplistic, but it really is ALL about Fun, isn't it? Lately my fun is being manifested in my preferred form of transport and that's via the extra-cool shopping carts you wear and ride around on from Yellow Snow! I use them everywhere. When lag kicks in, I put it on and glide effortlessly over all those lovely gray people, with oddly shaped non-rezzed hair! Hair Blob!

Here I am, contemplating the sunset, secure in the knowledge that if I do become homeless in SL I will always have a fashionable and fun way to get around. Thank you Madison Oller and Yellow Snow! You can visit Yellow Snow's Main Store on Oh My Stars! .... go..... go now... scurry!

I like to jump on the bed, it's the kid in me. But NOT any old bed! It's the Bed from Gala Charron of Art Dummy! which frankly has more changeable options than I have ever seen. No, not pose balls Thank GOD! What it has is the ability to change every fabric from sheets to pillows, and different wonderful and cute options for the headboard. The poses are also great!

Here I am being busted by Lucy whose exact words were "Shoes off the bed buddy!" I did a triple somersault with a pike tuck and landed it like a 13 year old Chinese Olympic gymnast (I even look great in Red). She was not amused! This is a really fun and well scripted animation in a bed that does almost everything except make the coffee and pour you a bowl of Crunchberries.
